Pre-Occupational and Speech Therapy Club
Educate, Prepare, Serve, Inspire.

President

Hey everyone! My name is Huntington Cotten and I am a senior French and International Health major with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership from Lexington, SC! Upon graduation, I hope to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy! I think that a career in therapy is special because it allows the provider an opportunity to have a real impact on the life of the patient, especially when the patient may believe that they are fighting some of their toughest battles. The opportunity to truly have a patient-provider relationship is something that I am most excited about! I am looking forward to helping lead this club alongside so many that are passionate about careers in Occupational and Speech Therapy!

Vice President -Speech Therapy

Hey y’all! My name is Lauren Brewington and I am from Union, SC! I am a junior Early Childhood Education major with a minor in Psychology and plan to pursue a career in Speech Therapy! My younger brother, Aiden, went to Speech Therapy when he was little and I got to attend along with my Mom; from that moment I was in love! I am so excited to get the opportunity to work with children and to do something I’m passionate about would make that even more special! I am so excited for this coming year and can’t wait to see all of the amazing things our club gets involved in!
Vice President-Occupational Therapy

Hi all! My name is Kerrigan Donnelly and I serve as the VP-OT! I am from Cherry Hill, NJ, and now I am a junior at Clemson majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Spanish Studies and Business Administration. I want to be an Occupational Therapist because I believe that everyone has the potential to be their best self and an asset to our world if they are given opportunities and skills to achieve their goals. What I am most looking forward to with being an OT is the connections I will make with patients and the impact my service will have on patients, their family, and all of the people around them. I am super excited to be able to hold this position and look forward to all of the amazing speakers we will hear from in the coming year!
Philanthropy Chairman

Hi everyone! My name is Kennedy Farrell and I am a senior Psychology major and Youth Development Studies minor from Bridgewater, NJ! I hope to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy to help improve the lives of patients in tangible ways! My cousin was diagnosed with autism at a very young age and with the help of his occupational, physical and speech therapists he was able to reach his developmental milestones and thrive independently. I hope to be able to help others reach their highest level of independence in my future just like my cousin's therapists did for him. As the Philanthropy Chair, I am looking forward to providing the club with many volunteer opportunities throughout the semester!
Treasurer

Hey y’all! My name is Katharine Ward and I am from Long Island, New York. I am a senior double major in Psychology and Economics. I am so excited to serve as the Treasurer of the Pre-OST Club! My track is pediatric SLP and I want to be a Speech Language Pathologist because I have a passion for helping others. I love every aspect of SLP and would love to help as many kids as I can.
Membership Chairman

Hey y’all! My name is Eliza Brown and I am from Johns Creek, GA which is about 30 minutes north of Atlanta! I am a Junior Psychology major with minors in American Sign Language and Brand Communications. Coming into Clemson, I was still wavering between if I wanted to go towards Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy. I think I am leaning more towards Speech Therapy! This club has been so helpful by providing professionals to talk to, as well as other members in the club, to allow me to make this decision to pursue Speech Therapy! In high school and college, I have been blessed with opportunities to work with special needs children, and I fell in love with the field and pediatrics. I was able to shadow a Pediatric OT in at home health this past summer, and I look forward to shadowing more Speech Therapists in the future. I cannot wait to meet all of you who share similar passions for OT and Speech!
